1. General Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Casa do Governador website and the booking of our accommodation services. By using our website or making a booking, you agree to these terms in their entirety.

3. Bookings
3.1. Booking Process
Bookings can be made through our website, by email, or by phone. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
3.2. Confirmation
A booking is only considered confirmed upon receipt of written confirmation (email) from Casa do Governador and payment of the deposit/initial payment, when applicable.
3.3. Payment
- To confirm the booking, an advance payment of 30% of the total amount may be required
- The remaining payment must be made up to 7 days before the check-in date
- We accept payments by bank transfer, credit/debit card, and MB Way
- All prices shown include VAT at the current legal rate
4. Check-in and Check-out
- Check-in: from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Check-out: until 11:00 AM
- Early check-in or late check-out subject to availability and possible additional cost
- Valid identification document required at check-in
5. Cancellation Policy
5.1. Cancellation by Customer
- More than 30 days before: full refund of amount paid
- Between 30 and 15 days before: 50% refund of amount paid
- Between 14 and 7 days before: 25% refund of amount paid
- Less than 7 days before: no refund
Cancellations must be communicated in writing (email) to reservas@casagovernador.pt.
5.2. No-Show
In case of no-show without prior notice, the full booking amount will be charged.
6. Booking Modifications
Changes to the booking (dates, number of guests, room type) are subject to availability and may incur additional costs. All changes must be requested in writing at least 7 days in advance.
7. House Rules
- Smoking is prohibited in all indoor spaces
- Pets are not allowed
- Respect the peace of other guests, especially between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM
- The maximum number of guests per room cannot be exceeded
- Parties or events are not allowed without prior authorization
- Guest is responsible for any damage caused during the stay
8. Responsibilities
8.1. Of Casa do Governador
We commit to providing clean, safe accommodation as described. We are not responsible for:
- Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
- Interruptions to public services beyond our control
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, etc.)
8.2. Of the Guest
The guest is responsible for any damage caused to the facilities or equipment during their stay. We reserve the right to charge for damages caused.
9. Children
Children of all ages are welcome. Cribs and extra beds for children are available upon request and availability, and may incur additional costs.
10. Breakfast and Meals
Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served buffet-style from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Other meals can be requested with prior booking (minimum 48 hours).
11. Intellectual Property
All website content (texts, images, logos, design) is the property of Casa do Governador and is protected by copyright. Reproduction without prior written authorization is prohibited.
12. Data Protection
The processing of your personal data is carried out in compliance with GDPR. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.
13. Right of Admission
Casa do Governador reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking in case of inappropriate behavior, violation of these rules, or other circumstances that justify such action.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon publication on the website.
15. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute will be under the jurisdiction of the courts of Évora.
